Comment: After buying several cheaper card readers (all of which either did not work or failed in a few weeks) I purchased the SanDisk ImageMate CF Reader. I use it on an IMac G5. No software was needed. It works flawlessly every time. I highly recommend this product. I have a semi-professional photographer friend who has had a similar wonderful experience.

Summary: SanDisk CF reader works fine for me.
Comment: I use this card reader to take pictures off cards from Canon Digital SLR cameras. Works great, fast enough for me. I go between an XP desktop and a Vista laptop and it is seamless on both. That feature (XP or Vista) was what I was looking for so that is important to me. I don't use the feature of the push button so I can't really comment on that.
I like this card reader!
