Summary: FITS THE BILL! EXACTLY WHAT I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR
Comment: I am very pleased with this product. I have thousands of slides from 40 years of world travels and have been looking for a way to get them digitized and into my iPhoto library. I looked at making a $500+ investment in a dedicated slide scanner like a Nikon Coolpix, but the cost and the spotty reviews prevented that. So, I kept looking and came across the Opteka Slide Copier. For 49 bucks I thought I couldn't lose. Well, I am a winner. I have run it through its paces, copying everything from Kodachrome slides 40 years old to fading Agfachrome slides and the digitized copies are great. I had a few digitized photos scanned from slides on an Epson 2400 Photo Scanner and I used the Opteka on the same slides, so I was able to compare scan to scan. The Opteka copies were brighter, sharper and the colors more vivid. I am using it with my Kodak Z612 camera and it is easy to attach and use. For my purposes, it is a wonderful solution to digitizing my collection.

Comment: Very happy with this product. You cannot get more enjoyment for the money with any other accessory.We have taken slides that are 40 and 50 years old and they came out like we took them yesterday. Your digital pictures come out exactly like the slide. If the slide is crisp so will the digital image be crisp. If the slide is blurred you will get the same result. This is a well made unit and you cannot beat it for the price.
