Kodak Easyshare Picture Viewer Reviews

Summary: Small viewing area
Comment: This product has a small viewing area and doesn't seem to stay charged very long. It works good to carry in your purse.

Summary: Highly recommend
Comment: The EasyShare Picture Viewer has proven to be so useful. I just take my pictures, remove the card from the camera and pop it into my EasyShare. People I hand it to review my pictures always ask about where to get one. It's small, so it easily fits in my purse. Think I know what I'm giving for Christmas gifts!

Summary: Nice little compact viewer
Comment: Got this for my wife to show off our snapshots. It does the trick. It is relatively simple, compact, lightweight, and picture display quality is quite good, though 2.5" is just barely big enough. A similar unit with a 4 inch display would be welcome.
It reads SD cards without problems. Transferring photos with the Kodak easyshare software isn't easy. There should be a provision to just copy the files rather than messing around with "favorites", "albums", etc. We just copy the pictures directly onto the card and transfer the card from computer to viewer.

Summary: Great Product
Comment: We bought one of these items to see how well it would work with pictures of the kids for grandma and grandpa. It was easy to use, holds a lot of pics, nice picture quality, and convenient in size. We liked it so much we bought 2 more - 1 for an uncle living in another state and 1 for my wife to keep in her purse. Well worth the money for not having traditional pictures getting ruined in your wallet.

Summary: Nice with it's limitations
Comment: This is a great little unit, if you can get it for under $50. More than that and it's limitations will drive you nuts.
Battery life: great.
Transfering photos: drag and drop with a card reader to an SD card...great. I have not tried using the Easy-share software to transfer.
Viewing: great, but....as a previous reviewer said, you can't organize the photos into folders. To see a photo, you need to scroll through the entire card. This really makes it useful only for a few photos.
I love it for being able to carry a few photos around to show to friends, but remember, that's a FEW due to the navigation limitations. Kodak, please release a firmware fix to address this, and this thing goes to 5 stars plus!!!
