Summary: HP misleads
Comment: I have windows Vista. The description of this product is Vista Certified. I went to the HP website and using their live help feature asked if the P2015 printer worked with Vista. Absolutely they said. They lied. I purchased it and tried to use the CD to load the drivers. The install program would not work. I tried to install the HP software "toolbox". That too does not work with Vista. No where does HP advise purchasers that to use the printer one must download the drivers from their web site NOT the CD. The printer works fine (its okay, not great, maybe a 3) but to have the manufacture simply mislead consumers regarding its use is unforgivable. I am familiar with HP downloads as I have several hp products so I knew where to get the drivers. But to ship this product as Vista certified and to just ignore the fact that the software is not compatible is criminal.

Summary: Printer Not Vista Compatible
Comment: The printer works great with my computer running XP SP1, but is not compatable with a newer computer running XP or any of my laptops that are running Vista. The fact that this printer is NOT Vista compatible should be highlighted.

Summary: Forget about vista
Comment: This printer fulfills my expectation. My wife and I can share it via AirPort Extreme (two desktops). I can also print out from my Air Mac as well without wiring. Everything including dual page printing works like a charm. When I tested it from my WIndows machine running Vista, I found that Vista does not fully support this product. If you are a Vista user, you might want to look for something else. I think this is an OS problem but not printer's fault. Over all, it is a great product.

Summary: Awesome Printer
Comment: This is one of the best laser printers HP has made in a long time.
Very fast.
Duplex is awesome.
One printer is attached to an Airport Extreme. Computers are running Mac OS X 10.5.
The other 2015 (without a duplexer) is running attached to a PC running XP Pro.
Excellent printers.

Summary: Great function but be aware of warranty problems and HP "service"
Comment: I bought this printer about 13 months ago. There has been a lengthy period of waiting for reliable, quality drives under OSX which have only just been fixed. Until that point, for network printing, we had been reduced to using postscript emulation, not being able to print in landscape, only being able to set 1 copy, and being unable to use the duplex function.
The print quality (when you can get a page) is excellent. The usability is hampered by the lack of anything other than some cryptic status lights - and with the USB connected type, the diagnostic utility will only work on a directly connected printer (not a normal network print server). This means if something seriously goes wrong, the lights will give a "unlisted" status and the printer will be mute as to the problem. So for that reason, ordering a P2015dn is better than saving a few bucks.
But the big complaint is that, just after the warranty, the main board inside the printer has failed in a way that renders the printer into a POR - print a page, POR mode. That is you have to power cycle it for each individual page. The fix involves a 120 dollar replacement board. And I know this is a "known" issue, you can Google it and see the repair centers talking about having to replace LOTS of these parts for many, many customers. It was so bad that HP was out of stock on the parts. The issue has been known about for at least 6 months, and yet - no recall - no sympathy for those who paid for the HP name and the quality of their past products. No, HP has been content to wait it out, only replacing parts for those who complained in the warranty period and were able to argue their way past denials that a problem existed, wasting their customers time and money.
Other than replacing the card (because it is cheaper than a new printer) rest assured, HP will not be the recipient of any more printer orders from me.
So, overall, with regret, I would recommend AVOIDING this line of printers and spending your money on another manufacturer.
