Comment: I have used this printer for awhile, and the quality is amazing. When I bought a new desktop (with Vista), the only driver offered is an alternative; however, you lose ALOT of resolution with this. There are other ways, but overall, don't get this is you need high-quality and you run Vista.

Summary: God send plain and simple!!
Comment: I haven't found a printer I like better and I have quite a few for my business. Ample ink supplies in the cartridges that can be easily refilled in-house for pennies, great print quality, duplex printing, large paper capacity (input). Easy to set up and use. I read where those who got them out of the box and had problems then condemned HP and all I can say is after UPS bounces boxes off the floor a few times on occasion that even this printer will not work. To complain about the quality of this unit is not reasonable as this thing is built like a tank and very heavy. To get one out a box, after who-knows how it was handled, and to find an occasional problem, is realistic. I bought used and got two with cartriges included (with ink left) for $15.00 apiece. Now that's bargain!!!! Both perform excellent despite rather poor packaging by the seller which is a real testament to the quality. If you want reliability and economy as well as excellent print quality better scoop one or two of these up before they're all gone. It's a shame HP stopped making these.

Summary: Used HP 6122 Color Printer
Comment: Although one always takes a chance on buying refurbished or reconditioned equipment, the HP6122 I received was in excellent condition and works properly. This is an item that is no longer manufactured and I wanted a back-up for my present HP6122 printer. The delivered price was reasonable.

Summary: Duplex Printing is great
Comment: I've had this printer for over 3 years and although the "all in one printers" and network printers is all the fashion it does do duplex printing and no longer can you get a duplex printer for this price so it is a deal for that. As for as cost per page, etc. typical HP...sell you the razor and charge you an arm and a leg for the "blades." Look at what they protect in the computer shops not the printers but the ink cartridges. So the 6122 is about average on ink consumption. I now use it with a Mac Pro and works fine in this new OS. If you need or like duplex printer can't find a more inexpensive printer to print automatically on both sides.
