Summary: Can't beat it for the price
Comment: For the light duty home/student use this printer can not be beat in its price range. I am on my 2nd toner and I have had it for about 2 years. The toner save funtion does just that. The print quality rivals much larger more expensive models. I encourage you to purchase this printer as it was money well spent.

Comment: Now, the print out cannot even read, and the total print page nowis only 944 (But it faded after 200 pages) -- buy another one if you really want a workable printer.

Comment: Unpacked the printer today. Installing was just simple. Registered it online. Then printed out a test page. Actually, you could hardly hear it running. Zip, zip...printed that test page in two seconds..that's what it seemed like. The seller was fantastic, we exchanged emails. I received it in 3 days, perfect working order. I just couldn't be happier and highly recommend Samsung to anyone.

Comment: Yeh, this is a great printer for the price. Fast, quality good & easy to get up and running.
The only thing I would warn about is that when buying refurbished, remember to factor in the price of a new toner cartridge as the one that comes with it may be already used. I orderd the Samsung ML-1710 (refurbished) and got about 10 pages out the toner cart before buying a new one ($80 for a new OEM toner cart)

Comment: I have had this printer now for 1 year. In that 1 year I have gone through maybye 7000 various pages. This tiny little beast does the job extremly well. One time my dog ran away and i had to print out 200 flyers for the occasion. The samsung got it done in about 2 minutes! Also if you are worried about the price of tonor you can get them very cheap through the internet when you buy the refilled versions and you also get a major discount if you buy more than 1. I payed $50 each because i bought 5. I still have 4 in my closit. Anyways AMAZING printer. Not compatible with lenox and mac though. If you need that get the 1740.
