Summary: Awesome!
Comment: There are SO many things you can do with this software. I have an online hunting and camping store and this is great to help create flyers... they look SO professional! And it's easy to use. I used the Microsoft "test drive" to see how this software works and it's a good thing to do. I don't recommend the 60 day free trial ( I lost all my old Outlook emails when it expired .. if you know how to get around that, then go for it but the other "online" free trial they offer is just as good and you won't loose anything ). Like my Outlook 2007 review, this was a real treat for me and worth the price .. which again WAS LOWEST AT AMAZON, by a LOT. WORD, POWERPOINT, ONE NOTE (A Really Cool Feature!) .. all of it is great. If you need Office capabilities but can't afford the REALLY nice stuff, this works just fine. You will be happy with your purchase.

Summary: Pleasant Experience
Comment: It was the most refreshing purchase experience I had in a few months. It was a good price. It was delivered fast and it was not damaged.

Summary: Excellent features
Comment: Loved the new features, it is worth getting used to the new tools layout, it's very logical and easy to use, and if you don't find what you are looking for the help tool is very useful and direct to the point. I'm writing my university thesis and it is so easy to get the table of contents, the citations and bibliography, saves lots if time!!! And you can compare different versions of a document...Every day I discover something useful!!!

Summary: New computer program
Comment: I like Microsoft Word 2007
It meets my creative needs and graphic design needs.
One thing I really liked was being able to generate a type size larger than 72 points!

Summary: First impressions
Comment: I am a more or less light user of MS Office: Word/Excel/Powerpoint. I know the basics, but not the slick stuff.
First thing to say is that it installed easily and registration was easy also. This was even true on my wife's machine, where for some unknown reason I could not do hers by the internet and did it by phone. As long as you are paying attention, it's not hard. I also signed up for the automatic updates and have already gone through one of those smoothly.
I have noticed that it does load documents slower than Office 1997-2003, but then seems to operate ok. My machine is a Pentium 4, 2.8GHz and it has 2Gb memory.
They decided to move some things around and you will spend a little time finding some things, at first.
The one thing I did not like is that when you load a document from an older version, it loads it in compatibility mode. You can convert it to the new mode, which seems to be more efficient, but then you can't go back. It seems like you have to stay in compatibility mode if you are going to ship documents to other people who have older versions. They can download and install a free conversion tool from Microsoft, but depending on who you are dealing with, this might not be a viable option.
I'm sure I have just barely scratched the surface of what the new tools can do. There is probably more upside for users with more expertise going in to the upgrade.
