Comment: I had the exact same printer previously and it worked fine. I had to finally replace it. I did so by buying the exact same printer. However, I have not been able to get working on the exact same computer. I tried it on someone elses computer and it worked just fine. I have troubleshooted over 10 times for many many hours with no results. I contacted Lexmark over the phone and they couldn't get it to work. Then the emailed a direct link to have the printer downlowded. It still didn't work. I give up!!

Summary: Another Lexmark with paper feed problems
Comment: I guess you get what you pay for but Lexmark used to be so much better quality than their printers of late are. This is the second Lexmark printer(2 different models) that I have purchased only to have to replace them within a year of only light to moderate home use for paper feed problems. I contacted Lexmark on it and their answer was to open up the printer, clean out the paper feed roller and that I really should be doing this on a regular basis! What a crock!! We have several HP printers at work and have used them for years without having to something like this. Lexmark is getting a reputation in the consumer reports of having paper feed problems. OK is you want to spend $30 or so and use it for a year and then replace it again. It prints nice before the paper feed messes up but then it's a totally worthless printer as it won't even let you manually feed the paper in...just won't pick it up no matter what you do. For $30 I don't think I should have to clean off the print roller with rubbing alcohol every couple weeks like Lexmark tech support recommended. Will not buy Lexmark ever again after having this happen 2 times on 2 different models now.

Comment: Excellent low end printer. Easy to use and quality is reasonble. Cartridge price is also reasonable. Highly recommended for kids, back-up or for printing where you don't need photo quality.

Comment: This is a great little printer for the price, fairly fast and very nice quality--I was surprised and am very pleased!...but then again, it IS a Lexmark! The ink cartridge for this model is also very inexpensive--under $20--so that was another nice surprise. I use it at home daily for regular printing tasks, and the photos are pretty decent too. I would recommend this to everyone.

Comment: The product was priced very reasonably but the price is evident in the printing quality. This is a good printer for items that do not require high quality, but if you plan to print pictures or other items that require high quality, you may want to invest a little more money for one that is "higher up the line." Overall, it is fine for what I had intended it for, install was easy and I have yet to replace ink so I am unsure what that will cost.
