Comment: The Kodak all in one,print,scan,copy etc. works very fast and well. The big plus is the ink is very reasonable in cost and lasts a LONG time. We r very pleased. The biggest bonus was the price, as I sold my 4 yr old printer and got this beauty for only an add'l few bucks, WHAT A DEAL !!

Summary: Printer Ink Is Proportional To The Quality You Select
Comment: I too have another ink jet printer that vibrated itself out of further usage. I purchased the Kodak 5300 AIO to replace the now deceased old printer. I was surprised at the excellence of the printed photographs. The quality of the print is dependent on the paper you are using. I use the regular photo paper because I create many PDF documents. What surprised me was the amount of ink, both color and black ink, that was still available after the photo prints. I've been creating a lot of documents to send to Owners, Contractors, and Government Agencies. There is still ink left to use, and I'm on my first set of ink cartridges. I'm amazed at the quality and the conservative use of the ink. The new print technique used by KODAK to put the ink on the photo paper is an advancement over the old ways of my previous printer. I use basic settings to conserve paper and ink. I would expect to pay more for higher quality paper, and a commensurate use of the inks at higher resolutions. I recommend this printer and the ink technology to everyone. Right now it's making my work look pretty good ....

Comment: These Kodak ink cartridges which aren't inks but pigments are fantastic. Their colors they produce are sharp and beautiful and PERMANENT and in my 5500 printer, (which I LOVE), they last a long time making them a very good value!
