Summary: Great Buy!
Comment: I love this printer! The photo color quality is GREAT, even on the HP Advanced Photo Paper. Picture print time in under 2 minutes and the picture dry instantly when using the HP Advanced Photo Paper. The touch screen and stylus are fun and easy to use. Even better are the NMEROS options to add borders, frames, text and even draw on your pics. Also, you can crop and remove red-eye right from the printer's touch screen - no need to use your computer. Setup is GREAT: I just plugged it in, loaded the ink and paper and then put in my camera's memory card. That's it and I was ready to print!

But remember, the printer only comes with a SAMPLE cartridge (that allows you to print 8 pictures) and 5 pieces of HP Advanced 5x7 inch paper. So, make sure you go out and buy an HP 110 Tri-colo ink cartridge and some photo paper; I like HP's Premium Photo paper better than the Advanced but the HP Advanced Photo paper is still pretty good.

Summary: Great little printer
Comment: This is the second HP printer I bought the first was the 8750 photosmart
it proves to be a very good printer one that uses only three ink cartriges. The A626 is providing some very nice pictures with options letting you type a caption from the printer. I recommend this printer to anyone who likes to have the ability to print from your memory card.

Summary: Excellent
Comment: I only wanted a photo printer, that I could hook up to my Mac, and what I got with this little device is so much more.
The setup was easy, and the quality of the pictures is great (much better than the photo printer at my local pharmacy store or Wal Mart). And then you get all the extra features (photo editing, touch screen etc.).
There are plenty of hook ups for all flash card formats and flash drives.

The only complaint I have : There was no USB cable included. If you are planning to use this printer with your computer, don't forget to order the USB2 cable as well !

Summary: Best little printer for the money!
Comment: I'm generally technically challenged. But I was able to start printing out pictures (once my husband added the printer to my laptop)in 5 minutes. I used my Adobe to edit some pics which printed well. Then I inserted my memory card and edited and added borders and doodled all over my pics just for practice without even having to ask my husband any questions. The touch screen is so easy to use. It takes you thru step by step directions. I'm a scrapper and will defintely be taking this to my scrapbook conventions. I won't have to spend hours prior to going to my conventions printing out pictures I may or may not use.

Summary: Great Fun! - See Update
Comment: Love the printer - so much better than the Photosmart 375 I have. My only complaint is that some photos looked great on the screen and printed darker than they appeared. Also - if you scroll through the pictures too fast it can lock up. I almost bought the Epson Picturemate because they have some pretty cool Disney Frames but this one does so much more. The stylus pen is so much fun and I love the touch screen. I bought the A627 model at Best Buy for $129. not sure what the difference is compared to the A626. I also bought the case for it @ a great price of $10. also @ Best Buy and it's awesome. I've ordered the rechargable battery for $30. here on Amazon and can't wait for it to come. If you've ever used the digital printer at Walgreens - this does everything that does in the comfort of your home. The value pack (of ink and 120 photo paper) costs about $35. (at Best Buy), which I believe is reasonable for the convenience and all the customizations you can do. Very easy to use - Love It!!!

Update - After about a hundred photos my printer started acting up. The part that dissapponts me the most is that everytime I try to print an album (my favorite feature) the photos print with lines running through them. It also started just shutting down for no reason, very frustrating.
As far as the reviewer that only got 20 photos - I did buy an inkpack here on Amazon that only gave me 40 photos but normally I get 100 photos per pack. I have a 7.2 megapixel camera - not sure if his camera is 10 or 12 pixels - maybe that makes a difference - not sure.
