Summary: Great printer value...
Comment: We needed something fast with the ability to add information to the back of postcards for mailing. The C88+ handled the thick card stock great. Very satisfied!

Summary: Epson Stylus C88+
Comment: This is a great little ink jet printer. What I like most is that the ink can be purchased at the fraction of the cost of HP ink.

Summary: Nice Printer, Nice Price
Comment: I purchased this printer after my Dell inkjet printer failed to produce color images, and pictures that satisfied me. So I thought I would start my search backawards this time, and take a look at who had the cheepest ink - and that was EPSON!
So this printer seemed like an excellent price when I picked it up for $49 at a local office store, I got it home and used it for a couple of months when it finally needed ink after making greeting cards, and printing pictures! I have always bought remanufactured ink cartridges and had no problems - DO NOT DO THAT WITH THIS PRINTER! I have tried all kinds of company and cannot get a GOOD print out from the remanufactured or refilled cartridges.
The thing I really like about this printer is all the ink is seperate it is not a black, and a multicolor cartridge or worse one cartridge that does all - this allows you to replace one at a time and the price on the cartridges are resonable too.. this printer prints super fast too in color or text modes. This is a excellent printer at the price point, especially now when all you seem to be finding are printers that print, copy, fax, scan, and wash the dishes!

Summary: Excellent printer for the price.
Comment: The epson c88+ is great for printing photos and iron-on transfers. The Durabrite ink is pigmented ink that does not bleed or run when wetted.
I tested two printers (HP Photosmart and the Epson c88+) using iron-on transfer paper for making t-shirts. Both are great printers, however, the HP ink bleed very bad when washing the t-shirt. I find the Epson c88+ with Durabrite ink does not bleed or run when washing.
