Comment: I bought this Hub over two years ago, and it works fine even today. Only once did it ever NOT work, and it repaired itself somehow. I have way too many gadgets and external drives to plug into my computer's limited usb ports, so this was a no brainer. If you're looking for something to uncomplicate your juggling of ports, pick this up.

Summary: USB Hub does the job for laptop expansion
Comment: I have not put this product to any extensive tests. I use it when my laptop is on my desk so that I only have one USB plug to plug in and out. My printer, trackball, and camera are all plugged into the Hub. I can plug the Hub into the laptop, and all the devices auto connect up just fine.

Comment: I have 3 of these and they work just fine. We have homes in NH and FL and use laptop PCs. The D-Link units are used so the laptops can be moved with the fewest cable connects and disconnects.
