Summary: THE BEST THING OUT THERE FOR PRINTING CD-R'S!!!
Comment: (...)Boy! Whadda device...It's the best thing since recording CD's!!! I did a few discs and they came out good, as I darkened the print texture when I set my perferences. Don't be deceived, you don't need the PC Windows software as the built-in Qwerty keyboard follows with *relative* ease (Please read the booklet and get a feel for the unit first with sample discs til you get it right-for me it took no more than three CD's to get it right.) I like the data storage file built-in to the unit and the different font styles. The only draw is like many other reviewers is you need to have replacement cartridges at the ready as it goes thru ink like an SUV guzzles gas. But, you could also say it's the "king of the CD printers". Very Nice Casio!! Peace - JG

Summary: It is a great deal for the price
Comment: I've being in this market since 1992, whem I bought my first Philips Cd-Recorder, an 1X recorder that would not work as a reader.
I've done so much in this fiels that I started to resell them in my region, and as the need of my clients also selling CD-printers. So I sold those teribles Rimage printers that never works, Primera models that gave me so much trobles, but finily I found a one model that works just as fine as it is written in the brochure.
It is a title printer and no more hand writng on CDs or DVDs discs.
Just imagem handling a disc to some one, business or personal, and they ask you how have you done this great job even before looking what is in it, just for the external looking. And for under $1oo.
Ok you can not do as good as an inkjet printer in high resolution full color with pictures, but you can print your mesagem in a much faster way. And there are those termal ones with professional looking, but you can print your mesage in a much cheapper way.
So for the price, it is a great deal.
I did not rated it as a 5 stars but it deleaver a professional looking with its 4 stars.

Summary: neat little machine
Comment: I was sent this review form from Amazon last week and I already reviewed it. The first one was sent back because it was missing parts and Casio was not forthcoming in sending them.Amazon was good enough to send me another one. I love it I am still waiting for a label from Amazon to send back the first one. It has been packed and ready for about 4 weeks. Still like the machine. Not sure about Casio's customer service or Amazon's ability to get a label to me. Have been told twice one was on the way. Must be coming by Pony Express.

Summary: Casio Disc Printer
Comment: Horrible print quality. They do not tell you in their description of the product that it only works if you use the blank CD's they sell. They cost twice as much as the ones you can buy in any store. Don't waste your money!!!

Summary: better for PC users than Mac users
Comment: Clever and relatively simple solution for printing directly onto a CD.
Software, however, is only for PC/Windows users, not Mac.
Annoying that "optionally available" aC adaptor is NOT on the
enclosed order form for replacement ink cartridges.
Was able to print basic label onto disc within 5 minutes of preparation,
however quality results VARY depending on what type of disc you use.
Be prepared to experiment. Ink cartridge refills, by the way, can
easily be found at lower prices than shown on amazon.
A "good" and relatively easy solution for beginners -- which is what I am --
but definitely not the kind of quality I'll want to stick with as I become
more sophisticated creating discs for self and for gifts.
