Summary: excellent portable printer
Comment: I bought the Canon Pixma ip90v printer to replace a non-portable printer that was relatively light weight, but a little bulky to carry around. In addition to the driver, the printer software loads an on-screen manual on your computer which turned out to be handy because the first time I used the printer it kept feeding two pages at a time. I went to the on screen manual's trouble shooting section, and it immediately provided the solution that fixed the problem. I am very happy with the performance of the printer, and Amazon had it on sale for about 30% off list price. If you have ever checked out this printer, you know how rare it is to find it discounted at all.Canon Pixma iP90v Photo Inkjet Printer (2238B002)

Summary: Great travel printer
Comment: This printer is truly portable and easy to use. I travel with medical teams to developing countries and have taken it on several trips. Works fine with 240V power outlets, ink cartridges are small but cheap and easy to pack. It works fine as a "work horse" for larger projects like printing pharmacy labels, but I especially appreciate the ability to complete high-quality projects like printing out certificates and pictures for gifts. I like it so much we've purchased a second for other teams to use.

Summary: excellent compact low-volume printer
Comment: I don't print much at home and I don't like having a big bulky printer taking up space. I have owned the older iP90 model for years and it's performed flawlessly. I print VERY little. In 3 years I've only replaced the ink 3 or 4 times. I mostly print webpages (maps directions) and electronic faxes.
If you print quite a bit, you should consider a printer with a flat paper loading area, a bigger sheet feeder, and possibly dedicated paper output space. Paper in the ip90 input slot left for a long time will get a slight curl, and it only holds a small number of blank sheets. I usually leave it empty and put blank sheets in only when I need to print something. This works out perfectly for my light workload, as when I'm not using it, I often store it in a drawer to save desk space and clutter.

Summary: Can anyone answer a question for me?
Comment: This is actually a question, not a review.
Can anyone tell me if i can print wirelessly from my LAPTOP to this printer. I've seen all over the place information about printing from cameras or handheld devices. What i really want is to be able to print from my laptop.
Can anyone help???
