Summary: PIXMA iP6000D Photo Printer Review
Comment: I have been a user of two different HP InkJet Printers over the past 6 years. I have been happy with the performance of each one. My only complaint was cost of Ink Cartridges. My son, an employee of Cartridge World, told me that the Canon with the ink tanks was a more economically feasable machine. I have been using this machine now for a month. I love the picture quality, the print quality, and the ease of using it. I will never go back to an HP InkJet Printer.

Comment: Outstanding picture quality! Still can't believe the quality of the photos for this price, outstanding!

Purchased the printer from Calumet. Was packaged very professionally and completely. Arrived on time, in tact and in factory sealed packaging. Thank you Calumet

Summary: Great value for the price.
Comment: I can give this printer a high rating because the price makes it an exceptional buy.
It works great with the Mac and printing from Adobe Elements gives me the most consistent quality results of all.
There are some drawbacks related to printing at home, cost being one of the biggest. Another can be getting prints that are not true to color.
This printer integrates well with the computer color management and using a variety of papers.
Ink is expensive no matter which system you use so I won't bother griping about the price for Canon's. These cartridges do install cleanly and easily and pop consistently into alignment.
One thing I am surprised I didn't see mentioned much was the speed with which this thing prints. By far the fastest 8 X 10's at high quality of any printer I have owned. I mean significantly faster too.
Good luck!

Summary: Cannon Printer
Comment: I have a Hp officejet 7213 that has real small ink cartridges that cost over $30 each and run out of ink quickly. I had an Ebson C88 which prints terribly and after 3 sets of ink cartridges in a row clogged up, I threw it out. My new Cannon iP6000D is just wonderful. The prints, on photo paper, look like they came from the store. The cartridges are generious sized, and cost an amazing $6 ea. It prints quick, and never gives me any trouble. I love the media print feature, where I put in my camera memory card, view the picture right on the printer LCD screen, make any adj. I want, and presto, store quality prints.

Summary: Complaint with Adorama who sold this printer
Comment: I bought this for my son for Christmas. When he opened the box on Christams it was broken. Then the real problems began, we never got a reply or refund from Adorama until February 22, 2006. They ingnored our emails, phone calls, etc. Amazon stepped into the picture and contacted them. It still took numerous phone calls and emails to the company to get any satisfaction. I would never deal with this company again.
