Summary: Buy Canon Ink ONLY for your Canon printer
Comment: These inks are inexpensive and a great value for your dollar. Only buy authentic ink as some generic inks will smudge or damage your printer. I have used Canon brand ink for years and have nothing but satisfaction for them. Quality is consistent and is a trusted brand worldwide.

Summary: Genuine Canon ink and a good deal.
Comment: I am not a heavy user of ink and I see no reason to take a chance with "compatible" products to save a few bucks. With Amazon Prime I get a good price on genuine Canon ink plus free shipping and 2 day delivery. With gas over $4 it's hard to justify a trip to Staples just to buy a $10 ink cartridge.

Summary: Do NOT buy imitations!
Comment: The original ink made by Canon is the BEST and only way to go!
I used a "compatible" ink in my Canon Multipass F60 Printer, and within a week, there were printing problems, and now my printer is useless, even though I tried to put original Canon ink back in the printer. The cost of repair and replacing the ruined print head is more than buying a new printer! :(

Summary: Great Canon product, no mess and no fuss
Comment: I have stopped buying off market refillable cartridges as they often are messy and do not save much money. This cartridge is a staple for the Canon line of printers and all in on multifunction machines.

Summary: Works great
Comment: I never bought generic ink for this printer, so I can't compare.
Photos come out great if you use Canon's paper, do not waste your time, effort, or money on generic photo printer paper at your local office warehouse supply store. For text we print on HP printer paper from the same. Looks good, not great.
The name of the game is buy enough cartridges, and buy them before you run out, so that you can use the SuperSaver free shipping from Amazon. I go three deep on each cartridge, but then again I have a family that will drain these things out and not tell me until its too late. Next time I'm getting a laser printer, but again, that's a different review (Canon MP760 multifunction).
