Summary: My i560 came with these cartridges...
Comment: ... and they work fine. So I suspect the other reviews are simply wrong. If you check the Canon website for ink cartridges for the i560 you get this model. I've had no problems with them, and I'm now ordering them as replacements for the originals. Of course, if I have any problems with this purchase, I'll post them here.

Summary: Canon better than generic
Comment: I have a Canon Multipass MP700 and the printer runs great!
The canon ink cartridges are easy to install and the quality of the inks produce great photos and cards.
I would never purchase generic inks, whose inks might clog up my printer. It isn't worth the risk of messing up my printer.

Summary: Incompatible with i560
Comment: Do NOT buy this product if you have an i560. That model is not listed on the packaging. Amazon's search engine will incorrectly point to this product if you use the term "canon i560 ink" as I did. I had to send it back. Avoid the hassle by not buyinig this item if you have an i560.

Summary: Worth using the original
Comment: As previously said, nothing beats OEM materials when quality matters; especially since Canon makes better than average inks and papers. I not only had poor results with off-brand inks before, but actually had much shorter catridge life as well.

The only beef I've had is that they use the same model number (BCI-3e) for both the photo and non-photo versions. THEY ARE NOT INTERCHANGABLE! I got photo ink for my i850 by mistake and the results were horrible.
