Summary: Better Than Using Batteries
Comment: When using batteries, I had nothing but problems. I would constantly get the "low Batt" Message even if the batteries were brand new. The unit would shut off all the time, sometimes in the middle of labeling. I purchased the Casio adapter and everything works perfect. It's well worth the adapter purchase. This machine is not made well for batteries.

Comment: I have used my Printer quite frequently in the last year.
I had used the option of powering it with batteries until i recently bought the a/c adapter. Now this is the way to go!!
I was continously replacing the batteries and Now i don't have to worry .... for the little extra money you invest in the adapter, you will soon find out how quickly it pays for itself.
