Comment: Quality and price - good deal. These are genuine Brother ink carts in original vacuum packaging, not remanufactured. Many ink carts on the web are remanufactured, but the listing does not make it obvious. This price is almost the lowest for new brand-name black, cyan, and yellow (why is magenta price much higher ??). When I tried the least expensive source, they were genuine but outdated or nearly so - probably surplus. These were very fresh, carts dated 2009.05 expiration (purchased 2007.09)

Comment: I bought this cartridge for my mom's printer and it didn't work at all. A new one from Staples did the job. I will be contacting this company for a refund.

Comment: This ink cartridge is recommended for my printer. The price was less than that of office supply stores and most discount stores. In addition, shipping through Amazon was free. The product arrived quickly and in good condition. I will very likely purchase replacement cartridges in the future in this fashion.

Comment: I thought about going generic ... but Brother has not disappointed me. The life of these cartridges outlast HP, Dell, Lexmark, and Epson. Well worth the few extra bucks.

Comment: FOR WHAT IT COSTS..THESE CARTRIDGES SHOULD LAST LONGER THAN THEY DO. THE MACHINE IS GREAT BUT I'VE ALMOST SPENT AS MUCH ON THE INK AS I DID ON THE ACTUAL SYSTEM! BROTHER..WHAT'S UP WITH THAT???
