Summary: Great buy and fun software
Comment: I love this software, both programs. Regular Photoshop is too complicated for me. Photoshop Elements gives all kinds of options for editing a photo, but it isn't that complicated.
Putting Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements together was a brilliant idea, as they complement each other. Regular Premiere is too expensive and complicated, but Premiere Elements does everything I need and more. And the price for both programs is a good deal.
I had previously used Studio 10 (Pinnacle) and I'd procrastinated in working on my video clips because I couldn't figure out how to do something. Both of these programs are user friendly, in my opinion.
For anyone who enjoys digital photography and digital video, I highly recommend this set of programs.
One feature that is particularly convenient is the ease to create scenes on a DVD, by marking the place where you wish to start each scene. It is also simple to label each scene with a graphic that can be imported from your hard drive.
There are lots of fun things to do to create a professional looking DVD, and you can also make slide shows using either Photoshop Elements or Premiere Elements and save them with your favorite music in the background.

Summary: Easy but effective.
Comment: I am focusing my review on Premiere Elements. I use Premiere Pro 2 at work and have used Avid in my work. I have Pinnacle 10 at home but was tired of the crashes, and if it didn't crash, I was asked to purchase a license from Pinnacle for any new transition. These gripes are not an issue with Premiere Elements. I was doing a few multi-media videos for a drama and needed to finish without more system problems. I installed this on Tuesday and had the videos ready on Friday night for review. I had to make a few changes Saturday morning and show on Saturday. I find the software EASY to use an has all of the basic tools to edit a simple project.

Summary: Great Bundle For Casual Photographers
Comment: After much comparing with Corel I choose this bundle. Be patient if you have not worked with layers in photography. Once you learn layers and how to manipulate them you can produce great special effects for your photographs. For the price this package has the most features. I'm very pleased with the programs.

Summary: Graphic Nirvana
Comment: My cousin & I have a computer & website business. I handle the hardware and he handles graphics and software. He is a Photoshop GURU! I am not. I got the elements bundle because I wanted to see what I could accomplish without extensive photoshop skills. The software is much easier than it's big brother but is still very full featured. I've been able to restore old photos and do some impressive editing. My goal is to master this software and I actually think that I can! Good product!

Summary: Excellent Value
Comment: There are obviously more powerful programs, but there isn't much I can't do with this package. I've enjoyed it now for several months, and am finally able to powerfully work with my 5000+ digital pictures.
My only complaint - I'd love to have more zoom capability in the organizer.
