Summary: Great price, last forever, no problems, now own three
Comment: I have bought three of the identical item. All still in excellent running order, just put to work in different locations. Nothing fancy, just gets the job done, clean print, good price on cartridges. Hard to find sometimes, upgraded model is color printer, don't have a clue on that one.

Summary: Great reliable printer
Comment: I've been using this for almost two years now. At this point you may only find this used, but here's what I use it for and why I like it.
I use this for printing envelopes, shipping labels, computerized checks, postcards, and occasionally regular paper. Most "regular" paper printing is done on another machine, and I use this for my specialty jobs.
Others will tell you that if you shoot too many sheets through they'll go all over the place. This is true, if you do a lot of jobs that are over 10 sheets, this may not be the printer for you. What I've done is take a piece of corrugated cardboard and laid it the output tray and that's helped. But few of my jobs are more than 10 sheets at a time so that's a non-issue for me.
Mostly I print envelopes and checks with it. It is very quick and easy and painless to switch paper sizes. It never chokes - not on the envelopes, and not on the checks, even when I have a single check (8.5" x 3") going in the wide way. Similarly I use it to print shipping labels because it never jams.
Its important to pick a printer for how you need to use it. Its a good choice for an inexpensive dedicated or part-time machine for checks and printing envelopes. So, if you want a reliable and fast printer for small jobs, and like or need to change paper sizes often, this is a very good choice.

Summary: Designed by monkeys
Comment: Output flows over into the input tray, which then jams. The paper holder on the outputbin broke on its cheap stems within days. After less than 5,000 pages of life now the feed jams every time. Toner is as expensive as the printer, and absolutely does NOT last as long as advertised. A ripoff in every possible way.

Summary: Solution to paper falling out
Comment: If you're finding that every other page you print is ending up on the floor, here's a simple solution: Turn the stack of paper over in the feed tray, so the bottom-facing sides are now facing up.
Most printer/copier paper is manufactured with a different "finish" on one side. (Sometimes the packaging for the paper even indicates "this side up.") If you don't load the paper correctly, then the finish can cause feed/output problems.

Summary: quick and decent printer for the money.
Comment: I work at an office supply retail store where I sell printers all day long. We ran a sale for this printer for $65, and for the price I couldn't pass on it. What other reviewers have said about the page limits is correct, it will slow down when the counter has reached the page limit. However if your cartridge (drum and toner) is in good condition you can very easily find replacement chips and a bottle of toner, at any online auction site. I got a 6000 page chip w/ toner for a total of $22 after shipping. So printing with this is almost free, about 1/3 of a cent per page in toner costs.
The quality isn't the best on the black and white laser market, but for just a basic laser printer it does the job well.
